The Jibek Joly tourist train has completed its next route

The Jibek Joly tourist train running between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has successfully completed its second trip on the route Almaty – Turkestan – Tashkent – Samarkand – Shymkent – Almaty. More than 100 passengers went on the second trip. During the five days of the trip, they visited ancient cities on the Great Silk Road and got acquainted with the rich history of the region.
A special feature of the second tour was the inclusion of new cities in the route - Samarkand and Shymkent, which makes it more interesting and distinguishes it from the first trip.
In Turkestan, passengers visited the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, the mausoleum of Arystan Bab, as well as the Aziret Sultan Museum-Reserve. In Tashkent, travelers were waiting for the historical Hazrati Imam complex, Barak Khan madrasah, Abu Bakr Kaffali Shashi Mausoleum and Tole bi Mausoleum. And the Magic City theme park in Tashkent has become a pleasant place for guests to relax and have fun.
In Samarkand, tourists visited the Shahi-Zinda complex, the Gur-Emir mausoleum, as well as the famous Registan Square, where they got acquainted with the history of the ancient madrasahs of Sherdor, Tillya-Kari and Ulugbek. The unique architecture and rich cultural heritage of Samarkand have left an unforgettable impression on travelers. The last stop of the route was Shymkent, where passengers visited the main attractions and historical sites of the city.
For the convenience of travelers, the tour included the services of a guide, meals, entrance tickets to attractions and a transfer.
It should be noted that the international tour was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC Passenger Transportation, the Republican Association "Kazakhstan Tourism Industry" and JSC NC Kazakh Tourism. The main goal of the project is to develop tourism between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as strengthen friendly ties between the peoples through acquaintance with their historical and cultural heritage.
