In the village of Koyandy, Tselinograd district, repair and restoration work has been completed at the Koyandy Yuzhnaya substation.
The power supply facility was visited by Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov, who got acquainted with the results of modernization.
During the visit, Alexander Pavlov, General Director of AREK JSC, and the leadership of the Tselinograd district reported on the work done. They noted that the implementation of the project will provide stable electricity supply to more than 30,000 subscribers from the villages of Koyandy, Akkayin, Shubary, Sofiyevka, Akzhar and Opan.
According to the modernization project, 26 vacuum cells and a new power transformer were installed, as well as commissioning work was carried out. This significantly increased the reliability of the facility, reducing the risk of power outages.
The head of the region stressed the importance of updating energy infrastructure facilities for the sustainable development of the region.
"Modern energy systems are the basis for a comfortable life for our citizens and economic development. The completion of the modernization of the Koyandy Yuzhnaya substation is a step towards ensuring uninterrupted power supply for residents of the districts," said Marat Akhmetzhanov.
"Due to the rapid growth of the population and social facilities, there is a need to increase capacity and modernize equipment. Residents of the Tselinograd and Arshaly districts receive food from it. Now, if electricity is limited, the minimum number of subscribers will be turned off," said the General Director of AREK JSC.
The implementation of such infrastructure projects remains a priority for the region, playing a key role in improving the quality of life of the population and creating conditions for further development of the territories. Work in this direction continues.
