In the Central Communications Service, Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Edil Ospan focused on the innovations of the new academic year. Since September 1, kindergartens, schools and colleges in the country have begun to teach the basics of personal safety, which include 130 lessons.
Today, the children have fully mastered all the topics planned for 10 weeks, including the basics of personal safety, rules of safe behavior in public places, on the street, at home and on the Internet. Until the end of the academic year, they will repeat and consolidate the studied material, paying special attention to the safe use of digital technologies, online threats, as well as the development of responsible and critical analysis skills.
"These lessons give children not only knowledge and practical skills to ensure their own safety, but also help to develop children's social responsibility and self-confidence. We strive to create a supportive atmosphere, taking into account the age and level of development of each child," said Edil Ospan.
Recall that classes are held weekly as part of a class hour, lasting 10 minutes, with the repetition of topics three times a year. Practical tips, interactive teaching methods, videos and games are used during the lessons, which helps to make the material accessible and interesting for children of all age groups.
