At the "City of Working Professions" festival, APEC Petrotechnic Higher College announced the launch of the first renewable energy workshop in the Western region, the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports.
The new educational and production center is equipped with modern equipment for the production of solar panels, where students will master advanced technologies and practical skills.
In addition to participating in innovative projects, college students will have the opportunity to get paid work. This opportunity will strengthen their professional experience.
"It is planned to open an IWCF accreditation center at our college, which will train international specialists in safe well management and drilling. The IWCF certificate is mandatory for participation in the drilling process and is recognized as mandatory not only in Kazakhstan, but also abroad. Training is conducted in English, which significantly expands the opportunities for graduates to find employment in international companies," said college teacher Ainur Shakenova.
In addition, APEC Petrotechnic has a workshop equipped with miniature versions of equipment used in the oil and gas industry. This allows students to practically learn the technologies of drilling, exploitation and production of oil and gas.
APEC Petrotechnic graduates are building successful careers in leading oil and gas companies such as Tengizchevroil, Schlumberger, KazMunayGas, etc. The college continues to develop educational programs aimed at training specialists in demand for various industries.
