SATBAYEV UNIVERSITY AND INDRIVE SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO CREATE THE INVISION U PROJECT
Satbayev University and InDrive are creating the inVision U faculty, which will provide free higher education to talented graduates from Kazakhstan and Central Asia. All students will receive free education, and low-income students will be provided with scholarships to cover dormitory accommodation, meals, and travel expenses in addition to tuition.
In September 2024, at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of InDrive initiated the opening of the inVision U University for 400 students. It will train specialists in IT, marketing and media, science, and other fields. To implement this project, an autonomous faculty will be created at the Institute of Project Management of Satbayev University, which will train future leaders of the social sphere and business. Training will be based on interdisciplinary communication, project work, and solving pressing problems of society.
InDrive will unlock the potential of young people and allow them to contribute to the prosperity of society. The program will begin in September 2025, with students taking the Foundation course and studying English, mathematics, and IT.
“InVision U is an educational institution that offers innovative projects and provides talented students with the opportunity to receive free education, regardless of their social status. A preparatory year is provided for those from rural areas. Working together with Satbayev University, we plan to open a separate campus in Almaty. This project will increase the international reputation of our country and is intended to expand to other regions in the future,” said Arsen Tomsky, founder of InDrive and head of the inVision U program.
“As a research university, it is important for our students to be able to receive education in future-oriented innovative fields. They study in dual degree programs at PennState and CityU, study logistics and railways in China, and also undergo dual training programs at domestic industries. This will allow our students to continue the leadership tradition of Satbayev University,” shared Satbayev University Rector Meiram Begentayev.
InVision U will support graduates by helping them launch startups and social initiatives after graduation. Education is conducted in three languages ​​- English, Kazakh, and Russian.
“Thanks to the partnership with Satbayev University, students will gain advanced knowledge and skills by combining academic experience and innovative teaching methods. The inVision U curriculum covers the fields of science, technology, society, marketing and media, as well as public administration. Students will develop not only problem-solving skills, but also the professional and flexible skills necessary to find sustainable solutions, working in interdisciplinary teams,” said inVision U President Andrew Wachtel.
Applications for the Foundation Program will open on April 15, 2025, and will close on August 1. The program will launch on September 1, 2025.
