As part of the ongoing work of the Ministry of Transport to open new international flights, Kazakhstani airlines will launch new flights to Georgia and China.
For example, starting May 27 of this year, Air Astana plans to launch direct flights from Atyrau to Tbilisi. Flights will be operated 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with Airbus aircraft. Currently, flights to Tbilisi are operated from Almaty and Aktau.
Starting May 28 of this year, SCAT plans to launch direct flights from Shymkent to Xi'an. Flights will be operated on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Currently, direct flights to Xi'an are operated by Chinese airlines from Almaty and Astana.
The opening of new routes will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, investment, tourism and cultural cooperation between the countries.
