The final biathlon awards were played at the Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China. The Kazakh men's team took second place in the relay, losing to the Japanese team.
The silver medal was won by our quartet of Asset Duysenov, Alexander Mukhin, Kirill Bauer and Vladislav Kireev. Teams from seven countries participated in the competition.
This is the fourth medal for Kazakhstani biathletes at the IX Asian Winter Games. Previously, Vladislav Kireev, a resident of Temirtau and a representative of the Karaganda region's school of high sportsmanship, became the champion in the individual competition, while Vadim Kurales won the silver medal.
The Kazakh women's team also entered the top three in the relay.
