Today, on October 25, in honor of the Republic Day, a ceremony of raising the National flag was held with the participation of Akim of the region Serik Shapkenov. At the solemn event, the head of the region congratulated the residents on the holiday and noted that sovereignty is the basis for the formation of our country, a symbol of the desire for self-determination, the press service of the akim of the region reports.
- For more than thirty years of the country's freedom, our native language, unique history, socio-economic and spiritual values have made Kazakhstan recognizable all over the world. The main legacy for the future generation is the independence of our country. The main factor in preserving freedom and strengthening people's trust is peace and harmony. All great ideas come to life in peacetime. Over the years, we, as a country, have gone through great stages of development. We have conquered a variety of heights in the economy, culture, and sports. Our national holidays and important memorable dates form patriotic feelings, remind us of the exploits of those who fought for the formation of our country. Dear fellow countrymen! I wish you all peace and prosperity! S. Shapkenov said in his congratulatory speech.
The solemn event continued with a festive concert by local artists.
