On February 18, 2025, the East Kazakhstan regional election commission held a field seminar in the city of Ridder on the topic "On the work of the East Kazakhstan regional election commissions in 2024 and the tasks set for 2025."
The seminar-training was attended by chairmen, deputies and secretaries of 13 city/district territorial election commissions.
The participants of the event included the chairman of the East Kazakhstan regional election commission K.K. Bichuinov, deputy akim of Ridder K. K. Toleukhan delivered a welcoming speech.
In their speeches, the speakers emphasized the need for continuous training of participants in the electoral process, development of dialogue between local executive bodies and election commissions at all levels in order to democratize Kazakhstani society and implement political reforms.
The seminar-training was held in a new format on the principle of a business team game, where participants from 4 teams demonstrated their erudition, solved logical problems and case tasks for learning electoral legislation.
