In the Turkestan region, families and individual citizens who have found themselves in difficult life situations are provided with state support in the form of employment, involvement in entrepreneurial activities, mastering professional skills, solving legal problems, and providing psychological assistance. The ongoing work and plans in this direction were widely discussed at a meeting chaired by the Governor of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov.
Nuralkhan Kusherov instructed responsible persons to identify citizens subject to updating and take appropriate measures. He charged district, city, and village akims and responsible departments to propose a specific algorithm for regulating work in this direction. He noted that it is necessary to prioritize increasing jobs, attracting investment, increasing own income, and improving the social situation of the population.
According to the head of the Regional Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, Asiya Temirbayeva, according to the data on the digital Family Map, there are 508,414 families in the region today. Of these, 10,002 families or 2% are at the safe level of A, 165,712 families or 32.6% at the satisfactory level of B, and 181,067 families or 35.6% at the unfavorable level of C. 151,633 families are registered in categories D and E, their share is 29.8%. There are also 18,455 individual entrepreneurs who do not have contributions and transfers in the region. Their share is 3.8%. The number of people registered by address in the region, but not living at all, is 23,887, which is 4.9% of citizens in categories D and E. They need to be registered at their actual place of residence.
The assessment of family well-being is determined automatically based on 9 criteria obtained from the information systems of state bodies. Specifically, the family's social well-being, employment, income and credit obligations, agriculture, movable property, social protection, health level, education level, and housing conditions are taken into account. It is worth noting that by the end of the year, the number of families in levels D and E is planned to be reduced to 137 thousand. Relevant work is being carried out in this direction.
