Two major sporting events will be held in Astana next Saturday, February 22: a match for the Kazakhstan Super Cup in football and a game between the Barys HC. In this regard, heavy traffic is expected on the roads. Therefore, temporary changes will be made to traffic for the convenience of city residents, the official website of the akimat reports.
The football match between Kairat and Aktobe will be held at the Astana Arena stadium at 15:00, and the hockey match between Barys HC will be held at the Barys Arena stadium at 17:00.
In order to evenly distribute traffic flow, separate routes will be organized for entering and exiting the arenas:
For spectators of the football match, traffic will be carried out only via Kabanbai Batyr Avenue.
For fans of the hockey match, it is possible to enter and exit only via Turan Avenue.
Traffic restrictions will be introduced several hours before the start of the matches and will remain in place until their end. Drivers should plan their traffic route in advance. To avoid inconvenience, they took public transport.
The Astana city administration asks residents and guests of the capital to be understanding of temporary changes and plan their movement in advance.
