In Astana, 69 multi-storey residential buildings were overhauled under the state program for 2022-2024, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
In addition, elevators in 55 buildings were repaired or replaced during this period.
"Major repairs of common property are divided into two types - minimal and maximum types of work. The minimum type of work includes the repair of the roof, entrance and basement of the residential building with the installation of an automated system for regulating heat consumption and general meters of heat energy in the house, as well as the creation of an accessible environment for people with limited mobility, taking into account the technical capabilities of the building.
The maximum type of work is the repair of the roof, entrance, basement, facade, repair (replacement) of elevator equipment with the mandatory installation of an automated system for regulating heat consumption and general heat meters in the house, installation/re-equipment of general engineering networks and fire safety systems of residential buildings, as well as the creation of an accessible environment, taking into account the technical capabilities of the building, - said Gulvira Abetova, Deputy Director of Orken Kala LLP.
The decision to participate in the overhaul of the common property of the condominium facility, the repair (replacement) of elevators at the expense of a state budget loan must be made by the owners of apartments and non-residential premises in an apartment building at a general meeting.
Then the fact of participation in the program not only, but also the amount of costs imposed on each apartment, non-residential premises should be approved. It is determined depending on the size of the areas of all residential and non-residential premises.
In addition, at the general meeting, the owners of apartments and non-residential premises must determine the period for the return of budget funds. According to the rules, it can be from 7 to 15 years. There is also an estimate of costs, service providers and responsible persons when accepting work, including hidden types of work.
“Major repairs are ongoing in Astana. Residents can apply by contacting Orken Kala LLP, which is the operator of this program,” Abetova noted.
It should be noted that since 2011, a state program for the major repair of residential buildings has been operating in Astana at the expense of local budget funds. Any multi-storey building in need of repairs can apply for a budget loan for this purpose.
