She noted that the main factors affecting maternal mortality are extragenital diseases of women and low pre-pregnancy preparation.

The Ministry is committed to strengthening women's health, improving perinatal outcomes, and promoting civilized and reasonable pregnancy planning. approved a special program "Maternal Health" for the first time in the country. Within the framework of the program, women of fertile age planning a pregnancy for the first time will undergo 12 basic examinations within the framework of the MSMS, and if pathologies are detected, they will be offered rehabilitation programs. "I ask you to properly monitor the implementation of this important program and ensure that up to 50% of women are covered with pre-pregnancy training by the end of this year. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen work in regions with a high incidence of morbidity among women,” the head of the department said in his speech to the heads of regional health departments.
