In accordance with the instructions of the Governor of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov, negotiations with investors on the opening of production facilities in the region are continuing in full swing. To this end, the Deputy Governor of the Turkestan region Nurbol Turashbekov met with investors from Turkey and discussed the implementation of new projects in detail.
Nurbol Turashbekov noted that priority is given to the development of agriculture in the Turkestan region, and assured that the local akimat will support it. They expressed their readiness to establish business contacts in the development of the agro-industrial sector.
At the meeting, Turkish investors presented their projects aimed at the development of the agro-industrial sector and shared their plans. They intend to generate electricity and heat energy by recycling livestock waste. More specifically, this year it is planned to launch biogas production based on green technology in the Sayram district of the Turkestan region. The project cost is 40 million US dollars. The enterprise is planned to produce 75 tons of organomineral fertilizers and 40 million kW of electricity per year. When the enterprise is launched, more than 100 permanent jobs will be created.
It should be noted that this year, 22 investment projects worth a total of 74.3 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in the Sayram district. As a result, more than 1 thousand new jobs will be created.
