Today, a field meeting organized by KMG PetroChem with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Polytech Astana plant. The meeting was attended by the Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, who noted the importance of developing polymer recycling and using modern solutions in infrastructure projects.
The Vice Minister noted that the use of modern polymer solutions in the modernization of construction and engineering networks allows extending their service life, reducing operating costs, and reducing the burden on the budget. He also noted the importance of supporting domestic manufacturers with sufficient production capacity.
Key decisions:
Develop mechanisms to encourage domestic manufacturers and create favorable conditions for their participation in government procurement.
Strengthen quality control measures for polymer pipes and combat counterfeit products.
Consideration of the introduction of long-term offtake contracts, which will ensure stable demand and reduce price fluctuations.
Conduct educational programs and seminars aimed at raising awareness of state customers and manufacturers about the advantages of polymer pipes.
Development of comprehensive measures to introduce polymer pipes into infrastructure projects, including the preparation of analytical materials and expert opinions.
Following the results of the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and implement the steps taken. The implementation of the adopted decisions will increase the reliability of engineering networks, give impetus to the development of domestic production, and reduce state costs for the operation of infrastructure.
