A large-scale job fair was held in the capital, which brought together 100 employers from various industries in one square. 1,500 candidates had the opportunity to interview for more than 500 jobs, the official website of the city administration reports.
The candidates were offered the following positions: teacher, accountant, miner, electrician, special equipment driver, mechanic, engineer, communicator, orderly, lawyer, mobile operator, marketer and many others.
"The fair gave the city's residents an opportunity to learn about jobs and working conditions at different levels. The average salary varies depending on the position, but many positions are available without work experience. "The job seekers were interested in vacancies with a convenient schedule and career growth opportunities," said Ruslan Sabitov, chief specialist of the internal policy and social sphere department of the Nura district akim's office of Astana.
State bodies, uranium mining, machine-building plants, utility contracting organizations, banks, supermarkets, retail stores, clinics, kindergartens and schools participated in the search for employees.
"We are ready to offer jobs even to those who have no experience and are just starting their careers. For some positions, experience is not required. The main thing is the desire to study. For example, in our retail sector, an internship is provided. We have already conducted several interviews and considered potential employees for ourselves. We will soon invite them to the final stage of selection," said Nurzhan Sardarov, a representative of the capital's large business.
Residents aged 20-50 came to the fair.
"I will graduate from university this year. I came to the fair today to find a job in my specialty. I plan to look at several interesting offers and have an interview,” shared one of the participants of the event, Arman Doszhanov.
The job fair was held within the framework of the Year of Working Professions, aimed at promoting popular specialties and supporting employment of the population. The event was organized by the Nura District Akimat and the Labor Mobility Center of the Astana Akimat.
