On March 18, 2025, within the framework of the decade of Nauryznam, the regional competition "Kazynaly Karia" was held.

The main goal of the competition was to promote traditional family values and respect for older people, preserve the continuity of generations and foster patriotism among young people.

The competition, consisting of 4 stages, was attended by 10 representatives of the older generation from different parts of our region. The oldest of the participants turned 80 years old, and despite his golden years, Aubai Durimkhan from the city of Stepnogorsk does not stay away, but lives a busy life.

In the video presentation, the contestants talked about their family, family traditions and their hobbies. They presented creative performances and decorative and applied products made with their own hands to the jury and the audience. The elderly participants also showed the tradition of "Bata Beru".

The Grand Prix of the regional competition "Kazynaly Karia" was awarded to Aubai Durimkhan from the city of Stepnogorsk.

As well as the decision of the jury, the best in the nominations were determined:

«Batagoy karia» – Zhaksybai Akhmetov, Sandyktau district;

«Danagoy кaria» - Maraltai Yerdenov, Zerendinsky district;

«Onerli karia» - Alibek Tasbolatov, Arshalinsky district;

«Tagylymdy кaria» - Seidali Sultanov, Stepnogorsk city;

«Shezhireli karia» - Amangeldy Aliyakbarov, Egindikol district;

«Onegeli кaria» - Altynbai Dzhandarbekov, Burabay district;

«Sheber kariа» - Galil Zhanibekov, Birzhan sal district;

«Asyl azhe» - Bakytzhan Dusatova, Kokshetau city;

«Kadirli karia» - Eginbai Ospanov, Astrakhan region.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and cash certificates of the organizing committee.
