On March 20, 2025, training took place in Almaty within the framework of the School of Anti-Corruption Compliance, organized by the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Service) in Almaty in partnership with the Parasatty Urpaq Usin Public Foundation and the Miliston Transformations Foundation. The event brought together representatives of government and quasi-government organizations and was aimed at increasing knowledge about corruption prevention mechanisms, as well as developing skills in implementing effective anti-corruption practices in government structures. The School's program was aimed at deepening knowledge in the field of anti-corruption compliance, explaining mechanisms for preventing corruption risks and introducing effective methods of combating corruption in government structures. The course participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with modern approaches to the creation and maintenance of anti-corruption systems, including the key principles of building corruption prevention systems, risk identification and the introduction of effective control tools. The training was conducted with the participation of leading experts in the field of compliance and anti-corruption policy, which provided high-quality and professional coverage of key topics. In addition, about 100 representatives of compliance services took part in the event, which contributed to a productive exchange of experience. "This training is of great importance for professional development of specialists. The introduction of anti—corruption measures will help significantly reduce the risks of corruption and increase public confidence in government institutions," said Zharkyn Galymov, First Deputy Head of the Department of the Agency for Combating Corruption (Anti-Corruption Service) in Almaty. The initiative, implemented within the framework of the School of Anti-Corruption Compliance, has become a significant step in developing a culture of integrity among government and quasi-government organizations in Almaty. The acquired knowledge and skills will allow participants to successfully apply anti-corruption measures, reduce corruption risks and increase the openness of government agencies.
