On 20 March, during the working visit of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Serbia Madi Atamkulov to Vrnjačka Banja, a meeting was held with schoolchildren from Kazakhstan who are taking part in the World School Chess Championship.

In the framework of the opening Championship ceremony, the Kazakh diplomat wished success to the young masters and expressed the hope that they would show worthy games.

The tournament brought together 470 participants from 44 countries, who will compete for medals in six age categories under 17.
The Kazakh delegation is one of the most representative: 40 young participants, including world and Asian champions, as well as the strongest ranking players.
