On March 23, Kazakhstan celebrated Tazaru Kuni—a day dedicated to environmental improvement and acts of kindness. Traditionally, this day is marked by cleanup campaigns and charitable initiatives.
To honor this important occasion, 15 servicemen from the logistics and technical support company of Military Unit 6636 of the National Guard visited the SOS Children's Village Astana, where they cleared snow from the premises.
The guardsmen quickly cleaned the pathways and helped remove the accumulated snow.
— We are always ready to help, especially when it comes to children. For us, this is not just snow removal but an opportunity to contribute to the comfort and safety of the kids, — said Private Aibek Baratov.
The children at the home deeply appreciated the efforts of the servicemen, thanked them, and even performed creative numbers in gratitude. This event was significant not only for the children but also for the guardsmen, as it strengthened warm and friendly relationships built on care and mutual understanding.
Such charitable initiatives play an important role in society, fostering kindness and a spirit of mutual assistance among the youth while encouraging everyone to contribute to the common good.
