March 23 marks Tazaru Kuni—the Day of Cleansing. This day concludes the ten-day spring celebration Nauryznama. It symbolizes the renewal of life both in a personal and societal sense: people reflect on the past, make plans for the future, and restore order around them.

Preparations for the spring equinox include environmental cleanups, community beautification, and expressing respect for Mother Earth. In line with this, the Akimat of Saryarka District in Astana, together with the National Guard, organized a cleanup of labor veterans' yards, clearing them of snow.

— The weather is getting warmer, and I was worried that the accumulated snow would melt and flood my home. But the soldiers quickly and thoroughly cleared the entire yard. I am grateful to the parents who raised such strong, compassionate, and helpful young men. I sincerely thank the Saryarka District Akimat and the leadership of the National Guard, — shared labor veteran Galina Koreyba.

Notably, ahead of the holiday, the guardsmen also visited several veterans and assisted in clearing accumulated snow.

The servicemen of the National Guard actively participate in the Nauryz Meiramy celebrations, contributing to the preservation and promotion of national traditions.
