Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev took part in the opening of a sports and recreation complex in the village of Akai during a working trip to Karmakshinsky district. The solemn event was attended by deputies of the Senate and the Mazhilis of the Parliament Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Marhabat Zhayymbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev, representatives of the intelligentsia and residents of the district.

The head of the region congratulated the public on the holiday and noted that the increase in such complexes stimulates the population to engage in sports.

"Our President Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich said: "Through the development of mass sports, we open the way to professional sports and, most importantly, improve the health of the nation." The number of such complexes is increasing so that residents can make sports a part of their daily lifestyle. In October last year, a Table tennis center was put into operation in Kyzylorda. The 11,000-seat Central Stadium, which meets international standards, will be handed over for the benefit of the country in May. In the coming days, the construction of the Kyzylorda Arena multidisciplinary sports and recreation complexes will begin. Since the beginning of the year, new sports and recreation complexes have been opened in the settlements of III International, Dur Ongar, Karmakshi district, and in the village of Bessaryk, Syrdarya district. The same sports complex will be put into operation yesterday in the village of Zhakaev, Shieli district, and tomorrow it will be launched in the Zhalagash district. Today, on the eve of the Great Nauryz Day, we gathered to present a new sports complex in the village of Akai. We have a good saying among our people: "A healthy body is a healthy soul."

We wish the rural youth to play sports, to bear the name of our country and region in competitions. Happy new sports building! I sincerely congratulate everyone on the beginning of the year-Nauryz meiramy!", said Nurlybek Mashbekovich.

At the ceremony, the citizens who contributed to the socio-economic development of Karmakshinsky district and the builders who built the building and donated it for the benefit of the country were awarded a letter of thanks from the akim of the region. Murat Abenov, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament, also delivered a welcoming speech at the event.
