On March 28, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held a regional competition “Best teacher of music school - 2025”. The event took place at Children’s Music School No. 1 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The goal of the competition was to raise teachers’ status and encourage teachers who demonstrate creativity and breakthrough in their professional activities, to identify and share innovative pedagogical experiences.   

Teachers from music schools and other extended education organizations with at least three years of teaching experience participated in the competition, showcasing their skills in the following disciplines: piano, stringed instruments, Kazakh folk instruments, music theory (solfeggio), and choreography.

The competition included 2 rounds: Round 1 - district (city), Round 2 - regional. The regional round consisted of 2 sections: “My lesson” - a lesson excerpt, and “Master class” - a master class on a topic chosen by a participant.

According to the results of the Competition Committee, the winners were announced and awarded diplomas and certificates.

In the system of extended education of the regional competition “Best teacher of music school - 2025”, teachers who creatively approach their work play a special role in exchanging innovative pedagogical methods, fostering learners’ development, and identifying talented, active, and creative children.
