Fraud changes, develops and takes on a new character depending on the state of society.
         A new type of fraud today is the theft of someone else's property using an information system, that is, Internet fraud.
         That is, here the criminal, using modern means such as computers, smartphones, tablets, via the Internet, deceives people and commits theft of property. Today, the scale of Internet fraud is expanding, and the number of deceived fraudsters using various Internet resources and social networks is growing day by day.
         Internet scammers are now trying to withdraw the country's money through Internet messengers. Financial projects were also presented by scammers posing as brokers. Currently, frauds against investment projects have become more frequent. Citizens believe that the accumulated money is invested in financial projects. In addition, he is deceived by directing money to a product or service that he has not yet received.
         One of the types of Internet fraud is phishing. This is the anonymous acquisition of personal data of an Internet user (login and password).

Attackers first distribute mass emails on behalf of well-known brands or banks.
         In principle, it is worth noting that it is better not to open letters from unknown addresses to your email address, even when opening, you should not follow the links indicated there. They should be deleted if possible and be sure to use antivirus programs.
         The country's banks and telecom operators are making statements about a new type of fraud.
         Following these simple steps will help you avoid becoming a victim of online fraud:
         - do not use unverified sales sources;
         - in any case, do not give your bank card and account details to anyone, especially when connecting via the Internet;
         - when following a link received via the Internet, pay attention to the address bar, that is, the correctness of the official name of the organization or company conducting the promotion;
         - when setting up the independence of your profile on social networks, contact information (work and personal phone numbers) should not be made publicly available. If it is necessary to indicate a mobile number (business account), it is necessary to distinguish between personal and work numbers, that is, it is better to use a personal number only for communication with relatives and loved ones.
         - regularly check your credentials and use trusted ports that use multi-factor authentication;
         - be careful with messages that appear in the browser, operating system and various windows of mobile devices;
         - save your bank card details and do not tell anyone the 3-digit CVV/CVC code on the outside of the card and never tell anyone the SMS code received from the bank;
         - do not trust open public Wi-Fi internet access points;
         - do not send or distribute to anyone documents, copies and photographs of bank cards containing personal data, identity card data, bank card data and much more;
         - Avoid questionable data generated on the Internet, including through social networks:
         - never enter into a preliminary agreement when purchasing real estate through Internet portals:
         - do not transfer money to unknown persons using payment systems:
         - when buying cars, spare parts for another city, tell your friends and acquaintances, ask to meet with the seller and check the purchased product.
        - do not comply with extortionists’ demands over the phone;
         Internet fraud is becoming a global problem. Only by developing information literacy and taking precautions can we protect ourselves and our personal data from the influence of fraudsters.
