"Recently, progress has been made in the adaptation of social infrastructure for people with disabilities in the city of Karaganda, including in Alikhan Bukeikhan district. The city is gradually becoming accessible for people with disabilities: the infrastructure is improving, many buildings are equipped with ramps and adapted entrances. An example of this is the Gennady Golovkin physical education complex, where the entrance is equipped, an elevator is installed, as a result of which citizens with disabilities have more space for sports. Of course, a number of works still need to be done, but positive changes are already visible and I believe that the accessible environment will become normal in the future", noted Sergey Kharchenko, a resident of Karaganda, a citizen with the second group of disabilities.
