As reported, Akmadi Sarbasov, at the end of 2017 Kazakhstan by the factor of "labor market efficiency" the global competitiveness index of the world Economic Forum from 140 countries took 35th place. This, according to Akmadi Sarbasov, was not only a result of the updated labor laws, but the system of measures taken jointly with the social partners.

"In 2017, at the meetings of tripartite commissions considered 305 companies having a current debts on a salary. By the end of 2017 employers repaid 3.1 billion of debt on a salary before 22nd thousands of workers.

Taken measures to prevent the dismissal of 3.7 thousand employees in 75 companies, planned the release of the workers, 422 businesses with more than 185 thousand people at risk, as enterprises often violate labor and social legislation – said the chief labor inspector.

Last year the number of concluded individual contracts of employment increased by 60 thousand. Also today signed 115 thousand memorandums to prevent redundancies. As a result, managed to save the jobs of more than 2.8 million people.

According to Akmadi Sarbasov, in 2017, according to citizens organized 9 920 unscheduled inspections.

"A large share of the these are questions of hiring and firing, which revealed more than 14.9 thousand violations. The results of the checks imposed penalties in the amount of 467 million tenge," - concluded the Chairman of the Committee on labor.

Positive dynamics, according to Akmadi Sarbasov, it is noted in the issues of ensuring safe working conditions. So, for the last 3 years the number of victims decreased by 16%. In the breakdown by industries the greatest number of victims is noted at the enterprises of mining-metallurgical complex – 16.0% and the construction industry by 15.2%.

In order to address issues of creation of safe working conditions the new Labor code provides for the establishment of works councils. Today already created more than 12 thousand such councils, owners "trust Certificates" were 140 employers. We will remind, on the basis of the Rules of the Declaration of employers, whose activities correspond to the requirements of the labor law, the certificate of trust. In respect of the holders of such certificate, taking into account the fact that their activities comply with the requirements of the labor legislation, within three years they are not carrying out inspections.

However, continues the work of the expert group on changes in the new Labor code. Today collected about 200 proposals, comments and contributions from employers, employees ' representatives and the citizens themselves.

The expert group plans to summarize them and present to Parliament this year.
