ROAD CONSTRUCTION WORKS ARE CONTINUING INTENSIVELY IN TURKESTAN

In the city of Turkestan, construction works are underway on the road between Kazybek bi and O.Zharylkapov streets, belonging to the "Yassi" sector.

Today, 85% of the 2.5-kilometer road has been completed. This section of the road was widened from two lanes to four lanes, and 1.7 km of the road was paved with black gravel and large-grained asphalt. Footpaths for pedestrians are being built. At the same time, gutters were installed.

B. A bridge for pedestrians over the railway is under construction in the Kalabi street and "Bekzat" Moltek district. Currently B. 7.4 km of Kalabi Street has been repaired and construction works are 25% completed. At the same time, 80% of the major repairs of the pedestrian bridge have been completed.

It should be noted that there are 875 streets with a total length of 845 kilometers in the city. Among them, 430.1 kilometers are currently covered with asphalt. That is, 50.3% of the roads are in good and satisfactory condition.

By the end of 2025, it is planned to carry out average repair work on 159 streets, totaling 138.5 kilometers. At present, 28.7 km of it have been completed, and work is ongoing on 12.1 km. It is planned to increase the share of roads in good and satisfactory condition to 67.4% by the end of the year.
