Kazakhstan Ambassador met with the Leadership of the Federation of Saudi Chambers

Riyadh, August 17, 2026 – During the meeting between Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov and First Vice Chairman of the Federation of Saudi Chambers Emad Al-Fahri, the prospects for intensifying bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to promoting Kazakh products in the Saudi market and expanding the presence of Saudi businesses in the Kazakhstan market.

The parties emphasized the importance of developing new areas of cooperation through arranging trade missions and joint business events, as well as actively utilizing the potential of the Kazakhstan–Saudi Arabia Business Council to ensure regular dialogue between the business communities of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint efforts to increase bilateral trade, strengthen business ties, and implement new initiatives.

According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, bilateral trade turnover increased by 23% in January-May 2026 compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching USD 7 million.

As of August 1, 2026, 33 legal entities with Saudi capital participation were registered in Kazakhstan.
