Serik Sermagambetov, chairman of the Fisheries Committee of the KR ASM, visited the Atyrau sturgeon plant.

The head of the committee got acquainted with the activities of the enterprise, visited the production facilities and discussed the issues of artificial breeding of sturgeon with the management of the plant. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the state order to raise juveniles of valuable fish species and to strengthen the material and technical base.

S. Sermagambetov emphasized the importance of the work of the sturgeon factory in ensuring food security and preserving the sturgeon population in the Zhaiyk-Caspian basin. He also emphasized the need to strengthen measures to prevent poaching during the spawning period.

Following the visit, further steps were established to increase the efficiency of the enterprise's work and support state programs for the restoration of fish resources.
