WAYS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE "TOWN OF ARTISANS" TO BE OPENED IN TURKEY HAVE BEEN PREPARED

✔️A new tourist facility - "Town of Craftsmen" is emerging in the cultural and spiritual center of Turkestan. Akim of the region Nuralkhan Kosherov met with the heads of the responsible departments and representatives of the craft industry and held a consultation on the development and coordination of the work of the said center. The head of the region said that the "City of Artisans" should meet the requirements of the times and give impetus to the development of culture, handicrafts and tourism. In that law, the task of developing the craft industry is assigned. At the same time, we know that the potential of the historical city is high. It is necessary to develop "town of artisans" and systematically coordinate its work. This project should not only develop tourism and crafts, but also be self-sustaining and increase income. Think comprehensively and do quality work, - said Nuralkhan Kosherov.

✔️At the meeting, the proposals and plans of the First Deputy Akim of Turkestan Region Zulpykhar Zholdasov, Head of the Tourism Department Nurdaulet Medeuov regarding the "City of Craftsmen" were heard. The costs of the necessary equipment for the craft workshop have been determined. The required amount of funds for the project is 120.0 million. Tenge was calculated. From now on, work has begun to create a pool of artisans by inviting active craftsmen to cooperate, holding personal meetings with them and concluding appropriate contracts. The center will be provided with the necessary equipment, and appropriate agreements will be made with the craftsmen.

✔️It should be noted that this project was started in 2023 by the initiative of "Sun Holiday" LLP. The total area of ​​the center of artisans is 2.3 hectares, and the construction area is 1.5 hectares.

✔️ "City of artisans" is a unique project where tradition and tourism meet. The tourist complex consists of 8 main parts. It will include 20 workshops, 2 showrooms, an exhibition hall, a restaurant, a hotel and other necessary rooms and places. A series of special brand catalogs is prepared according to the demands of the region and the customer. On the basis of that catalog, souvenirs will be put on the market for sale.

📌In short, it is expected that the "Craftsman Village" will become a tourist center that glorifies Kazakh culture and handicrafts. Work will continue in this direction.
