Kaltai Serikbayovna Balmakhanova chose this profession from a young age, dreaming of benefiting people by preventing diseases in order to ensure the health and well-being of the people.
After graduating from school in 1980, he entered the faculty of "sanitation, hygiene and epidemiology" of the Karaganda State Medical Institute and graduated in 1986.

After graduating from the institute, he worked at OKAA in 1986-1989. In 1989, he worked as a sanitary instructor, assistant epidemiologist, and epidemiologist at the sanitary-epidemiological station of the Lenin district of Karagandy. From 1997 to March 2002, the Regional HPP of the city of Karaganda worked.     From 2003 to 2011, he worked as a chief specialist in the municipal department of the sanitary service department of Oktyabr district of Karaganda city. In 2011, he returned to the sanitary-epidemiological control department of Kazybek bi district of the city of Karaganda and worked as the chief specialist of the epidemiological control and supervision department until now.  Total experience in the sanitary service is 35 years. K.S. Balmakhanova for her great contribution to the field of sanitary and epidemiological health of the population:

- Akim of Oktyabr district in 2006, Chief of sanitary and epidemiological station of Oktyabr district in 2010, Akim of Karaganda city in 2020, Sanitary and epidemiological control department of Karaganda region in 2021. In 2024, Karaganda City, Karaganda City, was awarded with Certificates of Honor from the Head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department of Kazybek Bi District. contributed to the prevention of the spread of dangerous diseases.
