Within the framework of the "Taza Kazakhstan" program and the "Almaty is our common Home" campaign, a large—scale cleaning and landscaping campaign was held in Almaly district.
Local clean-up days were held in all parts of the district: Almaly residents put squares, avenues and territories adjacent to buildings in order.
Special attention was paid to Gagarin Avenue. Communal services, employees of the office of the akim of the Almaly district, as well as young people from the Almaly Community Center, were engaged in cleaning here - more than 120 people in total.
Employees of medical institutions took part in the eco-action.:
GKP at the Municipal Cardiology Center, KGP at the Almaly District Primary Health Care Center,
Maternity Hospital No. 1, Polyclinic No. 30 and others.
Business representatives and entrepreneurs have also actively joined in — about 1,500 people in total.
What was done:
Sanitary pruning and felling of trees in problem areas was carried out.
Pedestrian zones and public spaces have been removed.
The order has been restored in the green areas.
🚚 More than 80 m3 of garbage was removed.
The current repair of the road surface has been carried out in certain areas.
In total, more than 1,700 people took part in the regional environmental action, and over 20 pieces of equipment were involved.
Residents of the area also did not stand aside and supported the action with their active participation.
