Ethics Commissioner of the Department of State Revenue for Pavlodar region Marat Beisenov met with the staff of the Department of State Revenue for Pavlodar region. The participants of the event discussed the principles, rules and norms of official ethics of civil servants during working and non-working hours, the main provisions of the Laws "On Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On Combating Corruption". "Civil servants in their activities should resist manifestations of corruption, prevent corruption offenses, should not allow facts of unethical behavior, and by their actions contribute to strengthening people's confidence in public service," Marat Beisenov said in his speech. The Ethics Commissioner reminded his colleagues that not only disciplinary, but also criminal liability is provided for violations of official ethics, non-fulfillment or improper performance of their official duties.
