Almost half a century ago, in 1978, the building of Kamystinskaya comprehensive school No. 1 was put into operation. In 2009, a major overhaul of the roof was carried out, and in 2011 - a major overhaul of the facade of the building. However, only annual routine repairs were made inside the building.

In 2023, work was carried out to develop design and estimate documentation with a positive expert opinion. And this year, funds were allocated from the regional budget to carry out major repairs. The contractor is TOO "PKF" Grenada ". On March 11, a team of workers began work. The heating and ventilation systems will be updated, the interior decoration of all premises will be carried out. New CCTV cameras will allow monitoring activities on the school grounds, which will significantly increase the level of security.

According to the director of Kamystinskaya secondary school No. 1 Namik Orujov, major repairs are a very joyful and long-awaited event for the school community. He is confident that the modern furnishings and technical capabilities of the classrooms will influence the mood of the employees. Teachers will be able to fully utilize their potential, and students will find it more comfortable to study, which will generally give impetus to high achievements.

The district administration keeps the issue of repairs under constant control and focuses on completing all work on time so that students can return to the renovated building as soon as possible. After all, with the start of the major repairs, it was decided to completely vacate the school and transfer students to nearby educational institutions.

In order to continuously organize the educational process, students from grades 1 to 4 and preschool classes were transferred to the second shift in Kamystinskaya comprehensive school No. 2, where they are also organized classes according to the approved schedule, and meals are organized. In the building of the House of Schoolchildren's Creativity, students of grades 5, 9, 10, 11 study in the first shift, and students of grades 6, 7, 8 in the second shift. In order to fully implement the curriculum, taking into account the transition to two-shift education, the first shift classes have been moved to 8.30.

The head of the district education department, Alikhan Arstymbayev, emphasized that the decision to transfer students to other buildings and to two-shift education was discussed with the parent community as part of the school-wide parent meeting. There were no difficulties in adapting to the schedule and place of study. According to the school teachers, the children are also active in classes. They are looking forward to the new school year to return to the renovated classrooms.

Mathematics teacher Ermek Azbergenov noted that Kamystinskaya Secondary School No. 1 has become his home, because after receiving an education, he returned to school as a teacher. In his opinion, the creation of modern learning conditions will help improve interaction in the classroom.

The major overhaul of the school is an important step in updating the educational environment. The building will have to meet all safety and comfort requirements.
