           Preventing corruption within the state revenue authorities is one of the key tasks that directly impacts the efficiency of public service and the level of public trust. In today’s context, the study of international experience and the adoption of best practices aimed at increasing transparency and reducing corruption risks are of particular importance.

          To this end, a training seminar titled "Preventing Corruption in the Management of State Revenues" was held in Astana on September 25–26, 2025, with the support of the OSCE Programme Office. The event was attended by Ethics Commissioners from the Central Office and regional departments of the State Revenue Committee.

        Opening remarks were delivered by:

        - Saltanat Maratovna Dosszhanova, Director of the Department of Human Resources and Internal Administration of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

        - Yerlen Badykhan, National Programme Officer for Economic and Environmental Affairs, OSCE Programme Office.

        The seminar was led by Raimundas Kalesnikas, an international expert, Doctor of Law, and certified auditor in ISO 37001 and ISO 37301 standards. For over 22 years, he has been engaged in the development and implementation of anti-corruption policies in the European Union and Central Asia.

       The seminar program is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge and tools for the effective implementation of anti-corruption strategies in their professional work.

       This seminar provides a platform for discussing current issues in anti-corruption policy, while also serving as a space for experience-sharing, exploring new solutions, and strengthening cooperation.
