On January 20, 2026, a seminar dedicated to explaining the provisions of the new Tax Code was held at the premises of the Healthcare Department of East Kazakhstan Region.

During the event, representatives of the Department of State Revenue for East Kazakhstan Region provided detailed explanations of the changes related to individual income tax and social tax, taking into account the specifics of accruals in the healthcare sector. Issues concerning corporate income tax, as well as the procedure for applying tax benefits and deductions by medical organizations, were also discussed.

Special attention was paid to adjustments in the administration of value-added tax, the list of VAT-exempt transactions, and the mandatory VAT registration threshold in 2026.

In addition, participants were informed about the launch of the “People’s Accountant” campaign in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk starting from January 5, 2026.

At the conclusion of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions of interest and receive clarifications on current issues directly from representatives of the tax authorities.

Following the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the employees of the state revenue authorities for the informative and practical explanations provided.
