Field seminars on explaining the norms of the new Tax Code are continuing in East Kazakhstan Region

On October 3, 2025, the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan region held a seminar on explaining the norms of the new Tax Code, which comes into force on January 1, 2026, at the site of the Akimat of the city of Shemonaiha.

The event was attended by taxpayers, business representatives, consulting companies, government officials, public opinion leaders, and the media.

During the seminar, representatives of the Department highlighted in detail the key changes in the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will directly affect taxpayers.

The following topics were discussed during the seminar:

* General provisions of the new Tax Code;

* Changes regarding the individual income tax (IIT): new rates and deductions;

* Rules for calculating and paying social taxes;

* The specifics of corporate income tax (CIT) and the procedure for making advance payments;

* Taxation of subsurface use;

* VAT changes: rates, registration and refund procedure for overpaid amounts;

* Changes in special tax regimes and desk control issues;

* Compulsory debt collection measures, as well as the possibility of obtaining deferrals and installments for the payment of taxes.

During the open dialogue, the seminar participants received answers to all questions about the changes in the new Tax Code.

Following the meeting, the seminar participants agreed that the upcoming changes to the new Tax Code are aimed at making the tax system more transparent and fair, as well as creating more favorable business conditions.
