Kazakh Foreign Minister Received Estonian Ambassador
10.11.2025 19:00:38 76Astana, November 10, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev received Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia Jaap Ora.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including the strengthening of political dialogue, the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, as well as the development of cultural and educational ties.
Particular attention was paid to the preparations for upcoming state visit of the President of Estonia, Alar Karis, to Astana. The Estonian head of state will be accompanied by a large delegation, including representatives from business, education, and culture, underscoring both countries’ commitment to deepening their partnership in various areas.
Minister Kosherbayev expressed confidence that the visit will be an important milestone in the Kazakh-Estonian relations and will open up new opportunities for joint projects in areas such as digitalization, transport and logistics, education and innovations.
Ambassador Ora outlined that the visit of the Estonian leader confirms Tallinn’s interest in enhancing multifaceted cooperation with Astana.
Concluding the meeting, the sides agreed to continue constructive cooperation.
