Today, Shymkent took an important step toward ensuring price stability for medical services, reducing inflation, and increasing access to healthcare for city residents.
The Akimat, together with leading medical and pharmaceutical organizations, signed a number of Memoranda aimed at stabilizing prices and curbing inflation.
The main goal of the initiative is to reduce the cost of paid medical services, medicines, and medical devices, ensure pricing transparency, and increase the availability of medical care for the population.
The following companies have joined the implementation of the agreements: Medical Center No. 14 LLC, Ai-Nury Medical Center LLC, KAMEYA Pharm Group LLC, Otau Med LLC, Atameken Medical Center LLC, ZERDE-PHARMA LLC, MURAT-PHARM LLC, and ZERDE Scientific and Production Association LLC.
According to the city's First Deputy Akim, Aidyn Karimov, these steps are aimed at increasing the transparency of medical organizations and strengthening public trust.
"The signing of the Memorandums directly contributes to increasing the availability of medical services and medications for city residents. The agreements reached are an important part of the overall effort to reduce inflationary pressure," noted Aydin Karimov.
It should be emphasized that the mutual obligations of the parties will not only help maintain price discipline and quality of services, but also develop fair competition among medical organizations, ensuring the protection of citizens' interests.
The city's first deputy akim also emphasized that the annual inflation rate in Shymkent in November 2025 was 11.8%, which is lower than the national average of 12.4%. Among the regions, the metropolis ranks 17th and is considered one of the regions with relatively low inflation.
"Monthly inflation compared to October was 0.1%, confirming the stabilization of prices for food, non-food products, and paid services. The city administration will continue to work in this direction, paying particular attention to transparency and price discipline in such important areas for society," said A. Karimov.
As a reminder, last week the city administration signed memorandums with more than 100 business entities.
The agreements are aimed at stabilizing prices for socially important food products and curbing inflation.
This step is part of a systematic effort to ensure food security and strengthen the social well-being of Shymkent residents.
