The Department of State Revenue for the Mangystau region informs that in order to support small businesses, the issue of providing second-tier banks with POS terminals, which are already integrated with the KKM, has been resolved. These can be stationary POS terminals or mobile POS applications installed on the phone.

 

What is already available to entrepreneurs?

 

- The POS terminals of Kaspi Bank and Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan are already operating as full-fledged KKM and have built-in barcode scanners.

- In the near future, the same functions will appear at the POS terminals of Freedom Bank Kazakhstan and Bank CenterCredit.

 

Thus, the state revenue authorities, together with fiscal data operators (OFDS), banks and manufacturers of cash registers, create convenient and automated trading solutions.

 

The updated requirements of the Tax Code and the Order of the Minister of Finance No. 626 will come into force on January 1, 2026.

 

The responsibilities of the OFD include:

Provide OFD services throughout the country.

Transfer payment data to the state revenue authorities promptly.

Place services on the portals for the use of the National Catalog of Goods (NCT).

Transmit the KKM geolocation data to the state revenue authorities.

Monitor incoming data from the KKM daily.

 

At the same time, the responsibilities of KKM manufacturers include:

Update the format of the receipt: now it must contain the names of the goods/services according to the CNT.

Exclude the function of "canceling" the receipt — corrections will be carried out only through the registration of a return receipt.

 These changes are aimed at protecting the rights of buyers, increasing business transparency, developing fair competition and reducing shadow turnover.

 

Entrepreneurs are required to:

Update the KKM

- All software sales registers have already been automatically updated to protocol 2.0.3.

- Owners of stationary KKM (Mercury, Minika, Port) need to contact the service centers for updates.

 

How should the product names be reflected in the receipt?

 

To do this, you need to use a barcode scanner:

- built-in POS terminal scanner,

- or a phone camera if you are using a mobile KKM,

- or a separate scanner for a stationary cash register.
