By the Order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 30, 2025, December 13 was officially established as a professional holiday — the Day of criminally-executive system.

In connection with this significant event, the Department of criminally-executive system of the North Kazakhstan Region held a ceremonial event attended by active-duty employees and their family members, veterans of criminally-executive system, relatives of officers who died in the line of duty, as well as representatives of government bodies and honored guests.

As part of the event, more than 100 people were awarded and honored on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of criminally-executive system Committee, the Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region, and the Head of the Department of criminally-executive system of the region. Departmental awards were presented, including medals such as “Distinguished Employee of criminally-executive system” and “For Contribution to the Development of criminally-executive system.” A number of employees were also granted early special ranks, certificates of merit, and letters of appreciation.

The Head of the Department of criminally-executive system of the North Kazakhstan Region, Police Colonel of Justice Murat Nakenov, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of establishing the professional holiday and expressing gratitude to system veterans and the current personnel.

The memory of employees who lost their lives in the line of duty was honored with a minute of silence. The event concluded with a festive concert, creating an atmosphere of unity, respect, and pride in the profession.
