Skopje, January 14, 2026 – Satybaldy Burshakov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to North Macedonia, met with the leadership of the European Economic Alliance for Cooperation with Asia.

Ambassador Burshakov informed representatives of Balkan businesses (from North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) about Kazakhstan's foreign policy priorities, the trade and economic potential of the country, and the key points of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's January interview with the Kazakh press.

Special attention during the meeting was paid to opportunities for expanding business contacts and boosting mutual trade in the agro-industrial sector, services, tourism, water conservation, and other areas.

To promote cooperation with the region's business community, the Embassy provided a list of exhibitions and business conferences scheduled to be held in Kazakhstan in 2026.

The meeting was held with the mediation of the Macedonian Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion.
