New Delhi, 25 January 2026 - Kazakh film industry representatives participated in a prestigious international children’s film festival in Kolkata, India. The event was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in India and Assel Yrys, an international producer and specialist in promoting Kazakh films at international festivals.

Two Kazakh animated films, “Seriktes” and “Aldar”, were presented to Indian audiences and received high praise during the festival. These works have previously been presented and received recognition at international film festivals in France, Turkiye, Argentina, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

The films were produced by «Tasqyn Studio» and presented by Madina Sutbayeva, Director of the studio and producer, together with Aigerim Abdramanova, producer of the studio’s projects.

The participation of Kazakh animated films at the Children’s Film Festival in India provided an opportunity to develop cultural exchange between the two countries and increase creative potential, to present national values ​​and modern vision at the international level.

Kazakh animated films received positive reviews from festival organizers and international audiences, contributing to the popularity of the Kazakh children’s film industry in the cultural space.
