Rules of transportation of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Shipments of animals, products and raw materials of animal origin are transported daily through the territory of Kostanay region and beyond. In order to ensure the protection of the population from diseases common to animals and humans, as well as the food safety of products and raw materials of animal origin, it is important to carry out the transportation process in compliance with the standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the order of the Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 29, 2015 No. 7-1/496, animals, products and raw materials of animal origin must be transported through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan accompanied by a veterinary certificate (Form 1 for live animals and Form 2 for livestock products) in compliance with veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements for the regime and the conditions of transportation of the object being moved (transported), provided that the name, the object being moved (transported), and its weight (volume) correspond, the total amount, the markings indicated in the veterinary documents. Animals must be identified by assigning an individual number to the animals by using products (means) for identification and labeling, including information about the farm animal in the database and issuing a veterinary passport.
Transportation (movement) of products of animal origin is carried out in special equipped vehicles in compliance with technical conditions (the order of laying or suspending meat, temperature regime, cooling system operation).
When transporting (moving) cooled and chilled meat (except poultry carcasses) over short distances, it is allowed to load it in bulk, but not more than in two layers. The floor of the vehicle body is washed, covered with a clean tarpaulin, and then with a clean material. The meat is covered with clean material from above. Bird carcasses are placed in boxes. Animal meat is transported (transported) by motor vehicles in a chilled, frozen or cooled state (subjected to cooling for 6 hours, with the formation of a drying crust). Movers or other persons are not allowed to stay in the back of a motor vehicle with loaded meat or meat products.
Transportation (movement) meat is not allowed in motor vehicles:
• soaked (contaminated) with petroleum products or substances with a pungent odor;
• together with other products that have an acutely specific odor.
In case of violation of the above-mentioned norms, administrative measures may be applied.
