New vector of support: expanded list of costs reimbursed by the state

As part of the implementation of the instructions of the head of state to increase the competitiveness of the national economy, updated mechanisms of State stimulation of industry have been introduced. The incentive measures implemented by the Ministry of Industry and construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan are aimed at the development of the manufacturing industry.
According to the amendments made to the" rules for the provision of state incentives for industry aimed at promoting processed goods, works and services produced in Kazakhstan to the domestic market", domestic enterprises can reimburse up to 50% of the cost of transporting priority goods by rail within the country. The maximum amount of compensation is 10 thousand MCI, that is, 43.25 million tenge.
This measure is aimed at reducing the transport costs of manufacturers, increasing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani products and stimulating an increase in the share of domestic content.
Also, for companies that plan to work with multinational corporations, the amount of reimbursement of costs for International Certification has increased fivefold. Such certificates make it possible to participate in tenders of large international organizations and expand export opportunities. The amount of compensation was increased from 3,000 MCI to 15,000 MCI.
In addition, amendments were made to the" rules for providing state incentives for industry aimed at increasing labor productivity of subjects of industrial and innovative activity". Now the condition for increasing annual tax revenues does not apply to enterprises registered less than seven years ago (previously – three years). This change will allow taking into account the timing of production enterprises to reach full capacity and newly created companies to receive more state support.
JSC" Kazakhstan Center for industry and export" QazIndustry". it is the national operator for the implementation of state incentives for industry. The center reimburses part of the costs of processing industry enterprises in the areas of increasing labor productivity and promoting products to the domestic market. In particular, enterprises can reimburse up to 40% of their costs for the purchase of technological equipment and the introduction of digital solutions, improving the competence of employees and the efficiency of production Organization, Certification, evaluation and testing of products, as well as the purchase of identification tools, including shoe marking equipment.
