On February 12, 2026, the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan Region conducted a technical training session for its territorial divisions on changes to the procedure for the recovery of tax arrears under the new Tax Code, as well as on the application of the mechanism for writing off penalties and fines based on the “clean slate” principle.

During the event, participants were informed about key innovations aimed at reducing the tax burden and easing administrative procedures for micro and small businesses during the transition period.

At the conclusion of the meeting, practical issues arising from the implementation of the new provisions were discussed, and relevant clarifications and recommendations were provided within the framework of the topic under consideration.
