In Shymkent, one of the country's three megacities, a large-scale campaign, "Together for the Renewal of the Country!", was held in support of a nationwide referendum on a new Constitution.
The event took place in the Qizqaldaq Palace and was aimed at supporting the main document defining the strategic course of the state's development, as well as strengthening social unity and harmony.
Around 1,000 city residents took part in the event. Among them were active youth, representatives of culture and art, and athletes defending the country's honor on the international stage. Participants expressed support for initiatives aimed at modernizing the country and demonstrated their civic commitment.
The highlight of the festive program was a joint performance of the song "Ata zan bul" by People's Artist of Kazakhstan, world-renowned opera singer Maira Mukhamedkyzy, and renowned city artists, along with the assembled audience. The blue flags fluttering in the hall and the participants' high spirits were a clear reflection of their confidence in the country's future and their strong patriotic spirit.
During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of the new Constitution in shaping a just society. "This isn't just a protest—it's an important step for our shared future. The new Constitution is a solid foundation for a just society," the meeting participants noted.
