Tbilisi, February 16 – At the Embassy of Kazakhstan, a meeting was held with the management of Aksu Drilling LLP, Aitkali Tuleumaganbetov and Sayat Kurmanbayev.
During the conversation, A. Tuleumagambetov and S. Kurmanbayev provided information about the activities of the Kazakh oilfield services company, which is an operator in the field of drilling and repairing oil and gas wells with its head office in Aktau. Since January 2026, work has been underway in Georgia to provide services for the decommissioning and repair of oil wells up to 4,000 meters deep as part of an international project involving an Indian customer company. This project is Aksu Drilling's first foreign experience with the opportunity to use Kazakhstani technologies.
In response, the Ambassador wished the management of Aksu Drilling professional success and expressed his readiness to provide the necessary support. It was noted that this cooperation is seen as a practical example of the development of industrial cooperation and the strengthening of economic ties between Kazakhstan and Georgia in the oil sector.
