A discussion of the draft law and the upcoming referendum took place during the 2nd reporting and election conference of the Samara District Branch of the Republican Public Association "Veterans' Organization." Participants discussed the changes introduced by the draft Constitution, how they will impact citizens' lives, and the importance of participating in the referendum.
The upcoming referendum aims to enshrine the fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens, improve the work of government bodies, and enhance the role of citizens in governing the country. The draft Constitution strengthens social guarantees, increases government transparency, and ensures the protection of veterans' interests.
Particular attention was paid to the role of the kurultai as a representative body of the people and the need for citizen participation in its work.
"President Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev wisely decided to adopt a new Constitution now, as the republic is entering a new stage of development, and the updated Constitution will ensure the country's sustainable development, strengthen social guarantees, and strengthen citizens' rights. "It's important that every citizen understands the essence of the proposed changes and can participate in the vote with awareness," emphasized Aidarkhan Fazylgalamovich, Chairman of the Samar District Veterans Council, Sadykov.
