A training seminar on "Legislative innovations of 2026" was held at the Trade Union Center of Pavlodar region with a special focus on changes in the tax sphere and their practical application by enterprises of the region.
Dinara Aitzhanova, Chairman of the territorial association of trade Unions of the Pavlodar region, opening the event, noted that clarifying changes in tax and social legislation is an important part of protecting the rights and interests of employees, since the correct application of standards directly affects social guarantees and the financial stability of enterprises.
The key speaker on taxation issues was Tolegen Shaimardanov, Head of the Department of Explanatory Work and the DGD contact Center. In his speech, he elaborated on the innovations in the Tax Code, including changes in VAT and corporate income tax, in tax administration and reporting, the specifics of tax regimes, desk control and inspections, etc.
Special attention was paid to the republican campaign "People's Accountant", in which entrepreneurs can receive free consultations on accounting, tax reporting and work in information systems. Consultations are conducted by members of the professional organization of accountants "Union of Accountants and Accounting Organizations of Kazakhstan" and UGD specialists.
The event was also attended by representatives of government agencies and social institutions – specialists in the field of social protection, state social insurance, pension provision, labor inspection and compulsory social health insurance.
The seminar was attended by more than fifty lawyers, HR staff, chairmen of trade union committees and representatives of enterprises in the region. Representatives of the enterprises of the city of Ekibastuz joined the event in an online format through the Zoom platform.
Following the seminar, the participants received detailed answers to practical questions related to the application of tax regulations and other legal acts adopted in 2025-2026, and expressed gratitude to the organizers and speakers for the accessible and practice-oriented presentation of the material.
